Terms & Conditions for PIRL Dating

Welcome to PIRL Dating! By using our app and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PIRL Dating (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PIRL. By signing up, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Registration

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
• You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. User Conduct

• You agree to use PIRL Dating respectfully and lawfully.
• Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
• You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
• You agree not to impersonate others or post false information.

5.Safety, Conduct & Participant Responsibility

• Events organised through PIRL are designed for singles to meet in a safe, respectful environment.
• You agree to follow any event-specific rules or guidelines.
• Clicked is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damages resulting from event participation.

a. Code of Conduct

PIRL is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants. By attending a PIRL event, you agree to behave in a courteous, considerate, and lawful manner at all times.

The following behaviour is not permitted:

• harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or unwanted advances
• aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour
• inappropriate physical contact
• offensive or sexually explicit language or conduct
• excessive intoxication or drug use
• any behaviour that makes other participants or staff feel unsafe or uncomfortable
• failure to follow instructions given by PIRL staff or venue personnel

PIRL reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes inappropriate behaviour.

b. Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Participants

PIRL reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any participant at any time if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, disruptive, or in breach of these Terms.

No refunds will be issued to participants removed from an event due to misconduct.

c. Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

By attending a PIRL event, you acknowledge that participation involves social interaction with other individuals and that you are responsible for exercising your own judgment, discretion, and personal safety at all times.

You agree to take reasonable precautions when sharing personal information or arranging further contact with other participants.

d. Event Scope

PIRL’s responsibility and duty of care apply only during the official event times and within the designated event venue(s).

Any interactions, meetings, communications, or arrangements made between participants before or after the event, or outside the organised event environment, are undertaken entirely at the participants’ own discretion and risk.

e. Limitation of Liability for Participant Conduct

PIRL does not control and is not responsible for the actions, behaviour, intentions, or conduct of any participant.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PIRL shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, claims, or disputes arising from:

• interactions between participants
• private meetings or contact outside the event
• reliance on information provided by other attendees

PIRL does not conduct background checks on participants and cannot guarantee the character, intentions, or actions of any individual attending an event.

f. Reporting Concerns

If at any time during an event you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, you should immediately notify a member of PIRL staff or the venue team so appropriate action can be taken.

g. Compliance with Venue Rules

Participants must comply with all venue policies, local laws, and licensing requirements, including those relating to alcohol consumption and safety.

6. Content

• You grant PIRL a licence to use your profile information and photos for the purpose of operating the Service.
• You retain ownership of your content but must ensure it does not violate these Terms.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

8. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms or engaging in harmful behaviour.
• You may delete your account at any time through the app.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• PIRL provides the Service “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee matches or outcomes from using the app or attending events.
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
